Alliance for Science in Africa

The Alliance for Science serves as a leading advocate for the use of biotechnology and other innovations to solve the continent’s most pressing challenges in food security and climate change.

The mandate of the Alliance for Science is to coordinate and execute priority communications campaigns and advocacy training to promote an enabling environment for science-based solutions towards the accelerated realisation of food security and climate resilience while simultaneously strengthening the capacity of "science champions", including scientists, farmers, and journalists, to communicate effectively, advancing knowledge-based advisory support to dismantle misinformation around biotechnology and vaccines, and serving as a global technical interface between African science advocates and international research partners.
