Cheikh Anta Diop University
Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD), also known as the University of Dakar, is one of Africa's most prestigious and intellectually influential public institutions. Located in the vibrant capital of Senegal, it serves as a central pillar of French-speaking higher education in West Africa.
The mission of UCAD is to provide high-level training and research that fosters the economic, social, and cultural development of Senegal and the African continent. With an enrollment exceeding 90,000 students, it is a massive academic ecosystem comprising six major faculties and over 20 specialized institutes.
