Agricultural Research Center of Bambui (North West).

The Agricultural Research Center of Bambui (Centre de Recherche Agricole de Bambui) is one of the most vital regional hubs of the Institute of Agricultural Research for Development (IRAD) in Cameroon. Located in the Tubah Sub-Division of the North West Region, it serves the Highlands Agro-ecological Zone.

As of February 2026, the center is a primary driver of Cameroon’s "Seed Security" program. Its current operations are heavily focused on the large-scale production of high-yield potato vitros (tissue culture plantlets) and the development of climate-resilient maize and vegetable varieties to combat the food security challenges currently affecting the region.
