Kenyatta University (KU)

Kenyatta University (KU) is a public research university in Nairobi, Kenya, with a main campus in Kahawa. Founded as a college in 1970, it was granted university status in 1985 and has since grown to become one of Kenya's largest universities with over 13 campuses and more than 70,000 students. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs through 18 schools and is accredited by several international bodies. 

The university is involved in various educational and research training programs in biotech/GEd through BSc, MSc and PhD programs
