Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) & affiliated Technical Colleges
Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) is headquartered at the KK 15 Road in Kigali and currently led by Vice Chancellor Dr. Sylvie Mucyo, the institution oversees a decentralized network of eight Integrated Polytechnic Regional Colleges (IPRCs), Kigali, Ngoma, Karongi, Huye, Tumba, Musanze, Gishari, and Kitabi, each specializing in regional economic strengths ranging from high-tech engineering and ICT to tourism and agriculture. Under the Education Sector Strategic Plan (2024–2029) and the NST2 framework, Rwanda Polytechnic has evolved beyond offering Advanced Diplomas to launching specialized Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs in 2024 to meet the rising demand for high-level technical expertise. Through its subsidiary, RP Corporate Ltd, and partnerships like the Solid Works Certification Program (launched in early 2026), the polytechnic ensures its curriculum remains market-responsive, equipping over 13,000 students with practical, innovative skills for "a better destiny."
