Université Joseph Ki-Zerbo

The BurkinaBioinfo (BBi) platform hosted at Université Joseph Ki-Zerbo in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, is a national bioinformatics hub that provides computational analysis, workflow design, training, and technical support for genomics and gene-editing (GEd) research. Developed through collaboration between university faculty and the National Centre for Scientific and Technological Research (CNRST), the platform strengthens local “wet-lab” research by offering high-performance computing tools, customized bioinformatics pipelines, and capacity-building programs for scientists across West Africa.
