University of Embu

Originally rooted in a long history of agricultural training dating back to 1947, the University of Embu has been repositioned to serve as a center of excellence in training, research, and innovation.

The mandate of the University of Embu is to: a) Coordinate and Execute priority academic and research projects to promote regional development towards the accelerated realisation of Kenya Vision 2030 and b) Strengthen capacity of students and stakeholders, advance knowledge-based advisory support, undertake the full range of resource mobilisation for academic advancement and serve as the region’s technical interface with all development stakeholders and industrial partners.
